Union Solar Singapore, since its establishment in 2020, has 5 years of expertise in the Singapore solar market. As a trusted name in Singaporeās solar industry, we have successfully completed more than 30MW of commercial solar installations across the country. Building on this strong foundation, we are now expanding into Malaysia with the goal of delivering innovative solar energy solutions that drive nationwide adoption.

āUnion Renewables Journey in Energy
Union Energy Singapore began in 1977 delivering bottled Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to Singaporean homes. In 1980 we expanded into LPG wholesale distribution and in 2000 we acquired and operated our own LPG bottling plant, ensuring greater control and supply reliability. In 2017, we entered the electricity retail market and made energy accessible and efficient for all. With the mindset of providing renewable energy, solar energy from nature, Union Solar launched in 2020 to drive solar adoption in Singapore. By 2025, we proudly expand into Malaysia, beginning and marking yet another milestone in our regional journey.
Union Renewables invest in residential, commercial, and industrial solar systems and assist clients in securing Power Purchase Agreements. We offer options including Building-Applied Photovoltaics (BAPV) and Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), which can be seamlessly incorporated into roofs, faƧades, windows, and even marble, bricks, or frosted-color aesthetic solar panels. Our solar voltaic systems feature on-grid inverters that support exporting solar power across grids, harnessing clean, renewable energy from sunlight using advanced photovoltaic materials.

š Union Renewables Expands to Malaysia
Union Renewables launches in Malaysia in 2025, offering solar panel installation services for both residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Our goal is to build a nationwide network of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to power homes and businesses sustainably. Our core business is installing solar PV systems for residential, commercial and industrial, large-scale solar farms, and government organizations. We distribute and install solar and energy-efficient products across both Malaysia and Singapore.
We provide end-to-end solar energy solutions, from roof assessment and system design to installation and commissioning, ensuring a seamless transition to clean energy.
š Union Solar Singapore: Milestone Achieved
Since its establishment in 2020, Union Solar Singapore has proudly achieved a major milestone of 30MW in commercial-installed solar capacity as of 2025. That is the equivalent of 120 Olympic size swimming pools. This reflects our commitment to accelerating the adoption of clean energy across commercial and industrial sectors.

In Singapore, Huawei has appointed Union Energy as its sole and exclusive distributor for the groundbreaking MegaWatt Charger, a high-speed EV charging innovation capable of fully charging commercial and passenger fleets in just 15 minutes. This partnership marks a significant step toward electrifying transportation and supporting Singaporeās green mobility goals.

In 2017, Union obtained an electricity retail license from Singaporeās Energy Market Authority (EMA) and established Union Power Pte Ltd as its official electricity retail arm.
